    This highly visible role will have a direct influence on our global sales and marketing efforts as well as influence strategy and product development. We are looking for a highly motivated person who approaches analysis as a path to strategic thinking and problem-solving. This person should also thrive in a fast-paced environment and have impeccable attention to detail.  The Director, Research & Insights will leverage deep domain knowledge and experience in consumer insights, media measurement and campaign performance to strengthen and support Undertone’s core brand promise: delivering “Standout Brand Experiences”, and further Undertone’s position as an industry thought leader.

     


    • Bachelors degree in marketing/advertising, statistics, mathematics, business, engineering, management information systems or related field
    • Graduate degree in statistics, economics, econometrics, business or a related discipline is preferred
    • Digital media domain expertise with exposure to rich media advertising, ad serving/integration (PC, tablet, mobile), data management tools and other related products
    •  Reporting, dash-boarding, modeling and advanced analytics experience is required
    • Ability to synthesize data, conduct analysis and make strategic recommendations
    • Experience with media measurement tools including 3rd party ad serving, syndicated research and web analytics, such as Netratings, comScore, Doubleclick, Atlas, Omniture, Coremetrics, Google Analytics , etc. is preferred, but not required
    • Experience in team leadership and coordinating across multiple business units
    • Strong project management skills with proven success at managing large scale initiatives cross departmentally
    • Must be pro-active, curious, creative problem solver
    • Strong work ethic, organization, time-management skills
    • Experience managing and cultivating a team
    • Ability to multi-task and adapt to change in a fast paced and constantly changing environment
    • Proven success building, developing and maintaining strong rapport with internal/external clients, vendors and industry leaders
    • Excellent written/verbal communication skills; active listening abilities and strong attention to detail
    • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Access and Excel (macro, pivot tables and charts) is required
