Marketing Manager, Customer Solutions

DataXu has an opening for a full-time Customer Solutions Manager in our San Francisco office. This is an opportunity to join an exciting new team at DataXu, which was formed to better support the various digital advertising needs and solutions for different vertical industries. The objective of this team is to create tailored digital advertising solutions for clients in these different industries and the Customer Solutions Manager will own developing the strategy and tactics for several vertical industries while working with a cross-functional group of talented folks across multiple departments. The successful candidate will also work closely with the go-to-market team that covers DataXu’s west region.

Responsibilities:

  • Research and analyze market trends in different vertical industries to produce marketing and sales content including presentations, case studies, whitepapers, market trend reports.
  • Participate in major digital marketing RFI/RFPs development, soliciting and synthesizing client’s feedback to produce innovative solutions to meet the specific needs
  • Manage marketing events and activities relating to the vertical industries of clients
  • Lead or assist in the creation of sales enablement content (e.g.) playbooks, battlecards, scripts, presentations, training modules, and demos
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the market to understand buyer personas and processes, competitive landscape.
  • Support efforts to identify and win potential opportunities
Requirements:
  • 5-7 year’s marketing experience in digital media industry with Agency, Brand or Advertising Technology vendor
  • Knowledgeable about the needs of advertisers across different vertical industries such as Tech & Telecom, Travel & Entertainment, Automotive, CPG, B2B, FinServ, Retail, etc.
  • Knowledgeable about digital media planning
  • Great interpersonal, communication and presentation skills for working with clients and sales teams
  • Experience analyzing product, customer, and market dynamics and opportunities.
  • Ability to convert complex ideas and quantitative data into simple messages
  • Experience in product marketing, enterprise software, SaaS models and “Big Data” analytics a plus
  • BA/BS degree. MBA a plus
